TZF 250 Overdrive / distortion

This is my take on the well loved DOD 250 Overdrive, which derived from the MXR Dist+. They are basically the same circuit. I’ve included a switch to give you the option of stock symmetrical clipping and asymmetrical (tube like) clipping. With this option, you’ll get a more natural sounding break up and a slight volume increase.

This pedal sounds great on its own or being used to push a valve amp or even other pedals.

It comes with NOS vintage genuine Bulgin knobs and includes a high quality Gorva Design soft press foot switch, Neutrik jacks and Alpha pots. The board was populated with high quality components including JB capacitors, 1% metal film resistors and a Texas Instruments LM741CN OP Amp. The op amp has been socketed so you can even experiment with swapping out different ones to your taste.

The enclosure has been painted with hammered silver finish paint.

Each one comes with a free glow in the dark enamel pin badge, sticker pack and optional rubber feet.

All of my pedals are 100% hand drilled, soldered, wired and dispatched by myself, from my kitchen table. This makes every single one entirely unique. And will differ ever so slightly from the one pictured.
