RIVAL is a battle between Fuzz and Clean tone!
The fuzz is always at maximum but you can dial back the left knob to achieve the perfect amount of clean signal in your dirt!
Rival retains your precious low end clarity and creates a well rounded fuzz tone that won’t get you lost in the mix.
It works equally well on bass and guitar. And, being a medium gain fuzz, it stacks really nicely into other pedals or crunchy amps!
This circuit is what happens when you take a simple bazz fuss (a diy circuit that's similar to a single gain stage from a Big Muff) tuned to my liking and extend it, adding extra circuitry that makes the clean blend possible.

Each unit in this tiny batch has been carefully hand built, acid splashed, scratched up, clear coated and hand wired by myself. Rival was designed in my garage (sorry neighbours!) and put together on my newly designed PCBs.
