Serpent - hellish octave fuzz drones

Serpent is an analog octave up and vintage RAT style circuit in one box, that can be used independently or together for hellish octave fuzz drones.... Painstakingly matched components produce a clear and pronounced analog octave up, which pummels the RAT circuit and sends it into drone metal chaos. There are three different clipping options available via the toggle switch. They are; symmetrical (silicon) / op amp (LOUD!) / asymmetrical (LED / Schottky).. The distortion comes courtesy of an Op07 operational amplifier. I’ve also taken care to correct a real Rat user’s bug-bear and reversed way the filter works. Counter clockwise for lows. Clockwise for highs.

Each pedal is hand wired, individually numbered, signed and housed in a uniquely painted aluminium enclosure with a Zerofret logo. Please be aware the unit you receive will look slightly different in terms of the paint job. Each one is unique and there’s a degree of unpredictability about the way I painted them. They are all assembled and built by hand, by me. In my garage workshop.
