GREEN MIRE - ONE OFF PEDAL!!
Feral Comparator Fuzz • Octave Blender • Overdrive • Clean Boost
⚠️ WARNING - the centre position on the toggle switch is LOUD beyond belief…. Be prepared…
GREEN MIRE is not a “one-sound” pedal.
It is a living circuit that mutates as you push it — from subtle tone enhancement to full feral saturation.
At its core, GREEN MIRE is a parallel octave blender with an active summing stage, (great for bass players!) but it does not stop there. The gain structure is switchable between three distinct operating modes, each radically different in behaviour and feel.
With the octave fully mixed out, GREEN MIRE becomes a rich, harmonically dense clean boost that enhances attack and low-end without thinning your signal. Blend the octave back in and the tone shifts into classic Green Ringer-style textures, perfect for bass or guitar.
Engage the higher-gain modes and the entire circuit breaks character — transforming into an overdriven parallel octave machine, then finally into a fully open-loop comparator fuzz: violent, unpredictable, and brutally loud. This mode is raw op-amp saturation with no safety net.
Features:
• Parallel clean + octave blending
• Three selectable gain structures
• Open-loop comparator fuzz mode
• High-headroom active summing amplifier
• Output level control with massive volume on tap
• Hand-built on a custom veroboard layout
• Resin-dripped enclosure with slime effect
GREEN MIRE is equally at home as:
• A fat clean boost
• A blendable octave effect that retains lows
• A parallel overdrive
• Or a feral experimental fuzz generator
This pedal was not designed to be polite.
It was designed to sink your signal into the swamp and let it crawl back out changed.
Be ready.
